The Soil & Water Department received a grant to update the Rutherford County Farmland Preservation Plan and partnered with Foothills Regional Commission to perform the tasks needed to update the plan.  The updated plan was approved by to the Rutherford County Farmland Advisory Board and the Rutherford County Board of Commissioners.  Soil and Water Conservation Director Brandon Higgins will present information on the newly updated plan.
