Sheriff Aaron Ellenburg requested that the Board approve a resolution in accordance with G.S. 20-187.2 awarding Corporal Roy Todd Laughter’s service side arm and badge to him for the sum of $1.00.  Corporal Laughter who has served as a Rutherford County deputy with both honor and integrity for twenty plus years will retire effective November 1.
