Rutherford County experienced unprecedented damages due to Hurricane Helene on September 27, 2024. In order to protect the public health and safety of citizens and to ease the financial burden associated with the recovery process, it is recommended that the Brush Tipping Fee be waived for 30 days (through November 6, 2024.) A resolution approving this action is presented for the Board’s consideration.
