Commissioners approved a resolution at their regular meeting held on October 7, 2024 waiving the Brush Tipping Fee as set forth in Section 24 Rutherford County Budget Ordinance for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 for a period of thirty days through the 6th day of November 6, 2024. This action was taken because of the devastation and destruction in the County as a result of Hurricane Helene. Due to FEMA regulations regarding reimbursement for disposal of residential debris, the Board will discuss possible action regarding the October 7, 2024 resolution.
