The Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue non-profit has expressed interest in contracting with the County to provide the operations and management of the County’s Animal Control Services. The Foothills Health District has notified the County that they will cease providing the operations/management oversight and will not renew their agreement with the County as of June 30, 2025.

Recommended Motion:
recommended action
Authorize the County Manager, working with the County Attorney, to negotiate terms of the agreement with Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue and to authorize the County Manager, Finance Director, Clerk to the Board and other County officials as necessary to sign and execute all documents in support of this action for an effective date of July 1, 2025.
