As outlined in Sessions Law § 108A-74(a3) Counties and regional social services departments required to enter into annual written agreement for all social services programs other than medical assistance; Counties that fail to meet MOU terms, mandated performance measures, or other applicable laws for the timeframes specified above will be required to enter into a joint corrective action plan within 60 working days. The MOA is effective on July 1, 2026 and shall continue for an initial term of 24 months following the effective date, through and including June 30, 2028. A copy of the MOU is attached.

Authorize the execution of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by the Chair of the Board of Commissioners, the Acting County Manager, and the DSS Director, contingent upon approval by the Board of Commissioners.
