Appointments to the 2026 Board of Equalization and Review are current; however, a resolution (copy on the following pages) adopted by the Rutherford County Board of Commissioners in 2017 states that each year the Rutherford County Board of Commissioners shall designate a member of the current Board of Commissioners so appointed as chairperson of the Board of Equalization and Review. Commissioner Benfield is a member of the Board of Equalization and Review.
