A public hearing will be held with the Town of Spindale to listen to comments regarding a local cash match requirement for a $75,000 One NC Grant for Project Cedar pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 158-7.1. Project Cedar proposes to locate in an existing facility in the Town of Spindale, create new jobs, and increase the tax base in Spindale and Rutherford County. The portion of the local cash match for each entity will not exceed $8,335. A resolution is presented on the following pages approving the match.
