Title
Beam Construction Design/Build Contract for Sheriff’s Office Upfit Project
body
Summary:
summary
Rutherford County continues to work with the design/build team Beam/CBSA on the renovation of the former RS Middle 6th Grade Building and Cafeteria, converting these facilities into a new Sheriff's Office and secured evidence storage facility.
Construction drawings are complete, and the project is now ready to move into the Construction phase.
It is important to note that this project is a critical step in moving forward with the planned Detention Center renovations, which will require the Sheriff's administrative staff to vacate the existing facility. Additionally, the upfit of the former 6th grade building will allow the entire Sheriff’s Office to operate under one roof, offering significant operational benefits.
