The National Association of Counties (NACo) and the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers are supporting Operation Green Light for Veterans from November 2 - 11, 2026. Rutherford County Commissioners participated in Operation Green Light in 2023, 2024, and 2025. By shining a green light, county governments and residents will let veterans know that they are seen, appreciated, and supported. A resolution is attached for the Board’s consideration declaring Rutherford County’s participation in Operation Green Light.
