Rutherford County continues to work with the design/build team of Vannoy Construction and Moseley Design on the renovation project for the Rutherford County Detention Facility.

Over the past several months, Vannoy/Moseley has collaborated with the County on Phase 2 of the project design, which included the completion of Construction Document Drawings and Specifications, review and approval by the North Carolina Department of Health Service Regulation (NCDHSR), bidding, and establishment of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP).

The project is now ready to move into the construction phase.

                     Alternate #1 (Group Shower Exhaust and Ceilings) - $179,403

                     Alternate #3 (Front Entry Gate) - $40,295

                     Alternate #4 (Back Sallyport) - $59,902

                     Alternate #5 (DOAS-1 Replacement) - $323,017

                     Alternate #6 (Multipurpose Room Build) - Approximate - $45,000

Authorize the Interim County Manager and the County Attorney to negotiate terms of contract and authorize the County Manager, Finance Officer, Clerk to the Board, and other County officials to sign and execute all documents in support of this action.
