On this day and throughout the month this provides an opportunity to draw attention to the growing problem of physical, emotional, and financial abuse of our seniors. Elder abuse is a growing problem in Rutherford County and across the country. This Proclamation signifies Rutherford County’s dedication to combating elder abuse and to recognizing the contributions and accomplishments of Rutherford County's Seniors.
