Rule 4 of Rutherford County’s Rules of Procedures states that the Board shall approve the bonds of the Sheriff and the Register of Deeds at the first meeting in December.  There are other bonds that must be approved for other county officials which will expire during the year.  These are also presented for the Board’s approval.
