Rutherford County has fourteen (14) buildings within its jurisdiction that require Level III fire inspections. At this point, the County does not have a Level III Fire Inspector on its staff. An interlocal agreement with the Town of Rutherfordton which is included on the following pages would allow the Town of Rutherfordton’s Level III fire inspectors to perform the inspections needed on these fourteen buildings.
