The email on the following page from Revenue Director Sherry Lavender requests approval by the Board of Commissioners of the resolution attached that would allow electronic listing of personal property and extending the time for filing of electronic listings of personal property. Also attached is a copy of a proposed contract with Tax Management Associates that would allow setup and usage of the Taxscribe online listing portal. North Carolina General Statutes 105-307, 105-310.1, and 105.311 are included for information regarding this request.

1. Approve resolution allowing electronic listing of personal property.
2. Authorize the County Manager and the County Attorney to negotiate terms of contract and authorize the County Manager, Finance Officer, Clerk to the Board, and other County officials to sign and execute all documents in support of this action.
